JOB DESCRIPTION
Department: Software Department – Product Engineering
Job Title: Software Engineer ( Java ) JOB RESPONSIBILITY & FUNCTIONS:
We are looking for a candidate to work on java/j2ee projects with Spring Boot framework. The right candidate will have strong development skills, the ability to learn new programming skills and tools quickly and independently, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
The developer will be responsible for new design and development
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:
1) Education Qualification: Required: 4-year College Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
2) Technical Skills :

• Strong experience using Eclipse IDE.
• Working experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, XML, Log4J and JDBC is required.
• Experience with Restful Webservices is a must.
• Experience with AngularJS is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle database is a plus.
• Experience with BPM workflow is a plus.
• Ability to interpret and understand database schemas to ensure database integrity.
• Working experience with Multi-tier environment involving Windows and UNIX servers.

3) Minimum Requirements :

• Good experience in java/J2EE
• Worked in a product startup or a product company
• Exposed to Agile development methodologies
• Working experience with various modules of Spring ( MVC, JPA) is a must
• Understanding of Java/j2ee patterns, coding standards and best practices.
• Good experience with all phases of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and multitask to meet critical deliverable dates.
• Must strive for results.
• Ability to work as team player in medium to large team environments.

4) Additional Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong analysis/problem solving experience to deal with complex business problems.

Job Overview

We are looking for a competent Java Developer to design and develop Java applications for our clients. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible to manage the development of web applications. You will be part of the core team throughout the life cycle of the software development program. You have to develop software and manage it right from the planning phase to prioritizing, testing and its launch. You will be working closely with our team of software engineers on large scale information systems. You will set out and maintain secure, functional, and high-quality applications for our company. You will have to follow agile software development practices and complete the tasks assigned to you on time. Responsibilities

• Identify and examine user requirements for a better output.
• Prioritize, specify and perform tasks all through the software development process.
• Develop Java EE applications.
• Write efficient, well-designed code modules and incorporate the same in the existing modules.
• Review, test and debug the code written by you before sending it for testing.
• Design database architecture and implement the same in software applications.
• Schedule the product launch with the internal teams.
• Document the entire design and development process.
• Ensure all the applications are properly designed and adheres to the client requirement specifications.
• Follow standard coding practices.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Computer Science Engineering or related fields.
• Proven experience working as a Java Developer or similar job in the IT and Development Industry.
• Outstanding knowledge of programming language - Java, JavaScript, etc.
• Hands-on experience in designing, building as well as testing the Java EE applications.
• Excellent knowledge of database management
• Thorough knowledge of application development
• Excellent logical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding the popular Java frameworks like Spring MVC and JSF.
• Expertise with Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
• Time management and viable delegation skills.
• Know-how of the trending Web developing technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
