Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Backend Developer to join our development team You will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining server side logic APIs and database interactions that power our web applications You ll collaborate closely with front end developers and other stakeholders to deliver scalable secure and high performance software solutions




Key Responsibilities


Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Framework


Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices


Integrate front end components with server side logic


Optimize application performance and scalability


Implement security protocols and data protection measures


Design and manage database schemas SQL NoSQL


Conduct code reviews debugging and unit testing


Collaborate with cross functional teams to define and achieve project goals


Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to development processes




Required Skills and Qualifications


3 years of experience in backend development


Proficiency in Java Spring Boot and Hibernate


Strong understanding of object oriented programming and design patterns


Experience with SQL databases e g MySQL PostgreSQL


Familiarity with version control systems like Git


Knowledge of cloud platforms AWS GCP Azure is a plus


Experience with CI CD pipelines and DevOps tools


Excellent problem solving and analytical skills


Strong communication and teamwork abilities




Preferred Skills


Experience with microservices architecture


Knowledge of serverless computing and containerization Docker Kubernetes


Exposure to test driven development TDD


Contributions to open source projects or personal development initiatives
