Job Title: Software Engineer -Java
Experience: 2 to 4 years
Location: Australia (Sydney)/India (Bangalore)
Opportunity to immigrate to Australia after 8-18 months.
Educational Qualifications: BE/B.Tech., ME, M.Tech., MCA
You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining the application suite. This is a full stack, hands-on role that will be developing new features for our customers which meet the needs of our business. As a software engineer, your role will involve building with best practices and resiliency in mind, adhering to agile processes and dealing with business and technology stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Development of stable, secure and well architected code
- To always leave code in a better state than it was when starting
- Your code is adequately tested
- Actively share knowledge with entire team
- Escalate issues/risks to manager when needed
Technical Skills:
- Degree in Software / Computer Science / Engineering desirable
- 2-4 years software engineering experience
- Strong Java experience
- Exposure to large scale applications
- Experience with AWS (or cloud technologies)
- You continually automate manual processes to drive efficiency
- A sense of ownership of technical projects and improvement of engineering practices
- You are a person who continually self learns and improves your technical skillsets
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach fellow teammates on coding and process standards
- You are curious, tenacious, creative
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Golang and React JS
