Lead I - Software Testing
Java Automation Test Engineer

Core Java Automation Engineer:
SDET: We are looking for an SDET Who can understand software internals, debug problems and write automated tests with Java.
Primary Skills: Core Java
Roles and Responsibility:
Design and develop Test Automation plans and Strategy
Understand the manual QA strategy for the feature and suggest better scope for automation coverage
Participate in designing and implementing enhancements to our test Automation framework
Write code and automate tests that are maintainable and reusable
Design and writing test automation scenarios
Conduct research on new automation tools and approaches
Analyze and decompose requirement to design and implement an automated testing approach
Fix Automation failures based on failure cause
The testing includes coding in Core Java for algorithmic-SW testing in Image Processing Applications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent to Engineering)
Skills:
Minimum 5-8 years of Proven work experience in development or as SDET
Proven work experience in Core Java.
Exposed to Automation Frameworks like Selenium including Unit Testing Framework of TestNG
Experience in writing or enhancing test plan, methodologies and framework- including interpretation of functional and non-functional requirements and translation into appropriate test plans, scenarios etc.
Have a broad view of the application, architecture, and system integrations.
Strong experience with debugging and isolating defects
Experienced in Agile or scrum development methodologies
Good to have Experience with Devops tools
Testing both white-box and gray-box, with exposure and understanding of SW design.
