Job Description

The Portfolio Solutions IT team works at the very heart of Credit Suisse International Wealth Management.

We are responsible for the development and maintenance of the key advisory systems in the bank, which are in use on a global scale within the CS Group.

We manage a complex application landscape including professional investment portfolio construction tools and mobile applications used during client meetings.

We also leverage modern portfolio optimization techniques to automate parts of the investment advice and offer a rich set of analyses to evaluate the investments of our clients.

The relationship managers guide the clients through an advisory process with the help of our applications, enabling our client advisors to understand the clients' goals, define an appropriate investment strategy, Monitor the impact and performance of the investments and align with all the regulatory requirements.

We continuously extend the functionality of our applications to meet the latest business needs.

In 2022 we plan to further improve our global footprint with exciting new initiatives. We are scaling a team of highly motivated technologists with knowledge in one or more areas of the software development, deployment, and operational lifecycle. You will be contributing transformation across Credit Suisse, helping teams maximise modern practices and tools as they adopt a DevOps culture. You will be responsible for helping to propose new ideas, influencing the organization, identifying new Open Source or commercial tools, or developing in-house capabilities that help to create the best possible Developer Experience

• Work closely with our development colleagues as well as other teams to further automate and optimize the DevOps process.

• Trouble-shoot complex technical issues

• Support other team members when needed

• Team have mixed blend of L3, Environment Management and DevOps role

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess below:

Total proven experience range 9-12 years

Jenkins -CI CD experience

Java Developer Knowledge/Java Development Background is Must (5+ Dev Experience)

Hands on knowledge in Red hat OpenShift from delivery architecture planning till release of software (5+ Experience)

Infrastructure provisioning using yaml/json files, hands on in designing iaas in OpenShift

Conceptually clear and hands on OpenShift basics, volume claim, mounts, configuration handling and designing base infra for microservice based applications

Lightweight rest services designing and implementation using microservice pattern

Cloud and cluster basics, service endpoint design as per requirements, good knowledge on egress/ingress and - routing in OpenShift

Good knowledge of git branching, CLI commands and git flow

Basic knowledge of docker

Can mentor other team members

A self-starter, being able to take ownership of tasks on short-notice and work under pressure
