Job Description

Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations. Responsibilities:

• Support APJ Cash application for the APJ region & Japan (Techno Financial role). Availability for 6:30 AM to 4PM Shift.
• Capable of handling HP online business ledgers & collaborate with business for sustainability.
• Independently handle stakeholder\xe2\x80\x99s query being eloquent in Japanese dialect.
• To carry out Entity specific MEC related activities.
• Periodic maintenance of Process SOP; proactively identify &resolve issues to ensure business continuity plan.
• Adaptable and flexible to the company\xe2\x80\x99s work environment and continually develop the inter-personal competencies aligning to the company\xe2\x80\x99s skills of the future.
• Key backup for the process leads & handle critical business queries.
• Extended APJ countries Business activity support.

Education and Experience Required:

• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience.
• 6-9 years of experience with Japanese language in finance or any other stream.
• May have experience in more than one finance function.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in Japanese language both written & oral (N2 certification preferred)
• Good English communication Skills - Oral & written
• Knowledge of MS-office package preferred with good excel skills.
• Experience of working in a multinational environment /cross functional team is an advantage.
• Sound accounting knowledge is preferred.
