Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Italian & Continental Chef [3-5 Years] at New Sky Coffee located in New Delhi. The Italian & Continental Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Italian and Continental dishes, ensuring high-quality food and presentation. You will be the one who will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring high quality and contentment. Your duties also include performing related duties in the Kitchen as per the standards. They will collaborate with the culinary team and demonstrate expertise in Italian and Continental cuisine, as well as stay updated with food trends and new recipes. Responsibilities 1. Prepare and cook food in a cafe with a limited menu. 2. Cleaned food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils. 3. Cook and package food, such as burgers, pizza, sandwiches, garlic bread, wrap, fries, fried chicken, pasta, omelette, salads which takes quick prep time. 4. Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously. 5. Maintained sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas. 6. Measured ingredients required for specific food items being prepared. 7. Operated large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles. Qualifications Proven experience as an Italian & Continental Chef with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience Knowledge of Italian and Continental cuisine, techniques, and ingredients Ability to create and execute new and innovative recipes while maintaining quality and taste Excellent culinary and kitchen management skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with the culinary team Certification or degree in Culinary Arts or similar field is preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Passion for cooking and a creative mindset Great communication skills A happy, friendly personality Team player qualities
