The IT Support Engineer will provide effective technical assistance to our employees and will provide back-up and support to the internal IT system. The position is responsible for installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting end user hardware and software. To succeed in this role, the candidate should have to be familiar with remote user management experience, Laptop hardware knowledge, Asset Management, remote troubleshooting skills etc.

We are looking for a smart candidate who could perform remote assistance to our internal users and having extensive knowledge on end-user devices.

  • Able to take responsibility
  • Address user L1-tickets regarding hardware, software and other regular issues
  • Basic knowledge in Windows Active Directory
  • Basic knowledge in Azure Active Directory
  • Basic knowledge in O365, Troubleshoot O365 related issues
  • Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
  • Basic understanding on computer networks and related computing environments
  • Experience in Wireless Access Points
  • Troubleshoot network and wireless connectivity of corporate users
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  • Manage hardware and software assets
  • Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
  • Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting and test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
  • Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Should have good Follow up skill
  • Help create technical documentation and manuals
  • Basic knowledge on Switch, Router and Firewall functionalities.
Experience in handling CCTV ,Door access control system, Camera etc.

Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and Documentation Skills.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) methodologies.
  • Good communication skills (Verbal & Written)
Education
  • Graduate or above
  • Certification on related area will have more preference
