The IT Service Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating IT service requests, ensuring efficient communication between users and technical teams, and tracking service delivery to meet business needs. This role involves organizing IT support operations, monitoring incident resolution, and maintaining customer satisfaction through timely and effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for all IT service requests and incidents.
Coordinate and assign tickets to appropriate IT staff based on priority and skill set.
Monitor service desk queues and ensure timely resolution of issues according to SLA (Service Level Agreements).
Maintain clear communication with end users regarding the status of requests and incidents.
Track, report, and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate levels within the organization.
Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk).
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including IT access provisioning and retrieval.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and user access.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and service documentation.
Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
