What you will do The IT Senior Manager is responsible for managing a motivated, talented, and highly seasoned team of SAP and MES function and technical specialist in the Global Application Development (GAD) GQO organization. Primary areas of responsibility are: 1. The core GAD functions which included design, build, test, deploy, cutover and hyper care and successfully rollout SmartERP (SAP/MES/Labeling) at Stryker manufacturing sites. 2. Provide leadership and guidance for the team with technical and functional topics in SAP and MES 3. Act as expert in business, functional and technical areas of SAP MFG (Production planning, Logistics and Quality Management) and integration with MES (Apriso). 4. Formulates and defines system scope, solution, and estimate on new build. Design or modify process to solve complex business problems considering SAP/MES(Apriso) system capabilities and limitations. Monitor, manage and report team\'s workload based on skills and availability Using the strong prior SAP manufacturing implementation experience to provide guidance and mentoring to other Solution Leads and Solution Analysts within the team or same project/program. Responsible for Request for Proposal (RFP) and Statements of Work (SOW) preparation and execution. Work closely with the other key stakeholders including the Stryker Procurement team. Responsible for managing and utilizing GAD SmartERP (SAP+MES) resources to successfully deploy the solution globally Manage multiple implementation projects at several sites running in parallel Work closely with vendors/SI on GAD GQO projects and manage consulting resource deliverables and quality of work. Based on forecast, proactively balance GAD GQO resource allocation to avoid over- and/or under-utilization of resources Manage partner relationships and collaborate with IT Supplier Management and Indirect Procurement in the negotiation of contracts as needed Monitor project budgets and resource utilization, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project success Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders and coordinate project progress with team members and management Financial focus on delivering activities on budget, leveraging time on value-driven activities and ensuring external resources meet contractual deliverables. Special projects/assignments as required. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. May be responsible for multiple phases of a project. May have duties instructing, directing, and checking the work of other applications systems analysis and programming personnel. May have quality assurance review responsibilities. What You need Minimum of 9-12 years of professional experience with global SAP ERP implementations and Execution System Minimum 2 Full life-cycle of Global SAP implementations experience and demonstrated project implementation experience Experience in leading teams of resources for projects, minimum 5 years Experience and demonstrated understanding of global system rollouts - strategy, planning, partner selection and implementation planning. Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills including the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Ability to work closely with other technology disciplines across integration, data, security and reporting Good understanding of recognized ERP implementation documentation methodologies. Good understanding of RICEF and customizations in a complex environment. Experience and demonstrated understanding of global system rollouts - strategy, planning, vendor selection and implementation planning Knowledge of and ability to drive IS methodologies such as ITIL, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Development is preferred Extensive knowledge of medical devices and/or pharmaceutical industry and basic knowledge of adjacent areas in terms of processes, organization, products and IT requirements Experience working with executive business stakeholders is required. Demonstrated ability to work cohesively across a cross functional and matrixed organization Experience with process mapping, documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear and understandable format is required. Experience understanding, evaluating, and recommending changes to business processes are required. Experience developing strategic business process methodologies to drive business results Strong data analysis, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain strong relationships within program teams across Stryker divisions and geographies. Ability to consider upstream and downstream process impacts and implications. Exhibits acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges. Ability to drive initiatives and projects independently from start to finish Strong knowledge of Excel Advanced, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Access DB, MS Project Suite (MPP/Visio/etc.) Demonstrated strong communication and influencing skills - oral, written, listening, executive presentations Execution & Delivery Focus. Ability to understand, interpret and translate emerging trends, future visions and strategies into executable programs and projects that align to the current state architecture and business environment. The incumbent will be results oriented, able to design and deliver rapid solutions for the team. Demonstrate ability to work in and deal with ambiguous situations Driven and results oriented. He/she will be required to drive results and integrate effectively into the culture. The successful candidate must possess the blend of confidence and humility while driving to achieve results and meeting committed timelines. Strong collaboration skills are required.
