We are currently seeking a IT Scrum Master - eCommerce to join our team in Bangalore, Karn taka (IN-KA), India (IN). Position Title: IT Scrum Master eCommerce (Bengaluru, India)/Hybrid Job Summary: Our Project Management practice group is currently seeking a Scrum Master who has strong experience in eCommerce IT Applications product team management to support one of our global Healthcare devices/Life Science clients, based out of Bengaluru, India. This Scrum Master is a solution-oriented Lean-Agile leader that can apply the Lean-Agile mindset and methodology experience to lead global, cross-functional teams. The Scrum Master will also coordinate with the different scrum teams in Release Train and release management to ensure successful delivery of features in production. You will be responsible for coaching/mentoring the team on scrum methodology and adept at building and maintaining relationships and enjoys bringing structure and discipline to ambiguous spaces to realize measurable value for the business. You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs and balance short & long-term business needs against constraints . Responsibilities and Duties: The Scrum Master will be responsible for the overall Agile Scrum execution and will manage one or more Scrum teams. The scrum master will also be responsible for coaching/mentoring the existing team on scrum methodology. The Scrum Master will also coordinate with the different scrum teams in Release Train and release management to ensure successful delivery of features in production. Exhibits the behaviors of a Lean-Agile Leader with a Lean-Agile Mindset. Helps the team embrace SAFe Core Values, adopt and apply SAFe Principles, and implement SAFe practices. Ensure the rules of an Agile Team are lightweight, but they are rules nonetheless, and the Scrum Master is responsible for reinforcing them. These may include the rules of Scrum, Built-In Quality practices from Extreme Programming (XP), Work in Process (WIP) limits from Kanban, and any other process rules the team has agreed. Promotes SAFe quality practices by assisting the teams in constantly improving the quality of their deliverables and meeting the Definition of Done (DoD). The Scrum Master helps foster the culture of technical discipline and craftsmanship that is the hallmark of effective Agile teams. Facilitates getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work. Escalates people problems to management where necessary, but only after internal team processes have failed to resolve the issue helps individuals and teams through personnel changes. The Scrum Master helps coordinate inter-team cooperation and helps the team operate well on the train. The Scrum Master supports the overall adoption of SAFe across the enterprise by coaching stakeholders and other non-agile teams on effective interactions with agile teams, participating in the Scrum Master Community of Practice, and supporting other organization\'s initiatives. The Scrum Master works with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders to help the team contribute towards improving the overall development Value Stream and hence enables organizational effectiveness. Assists the team in effective preparation for ART activities, including PI Planning, System Demos, and the Inspect and Adapt. Manage Agile KPIs such as: Product backlog burn down chart, Sprint burn-up charts, Release burn down chart, Team velocity, Quality Reports etc. which measures teams Quality, Productivity, Predictability and Innovation behaviors. Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and coaching them to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable. Anticipates needs and problems in the development cycle. Is willing to ask difficult questions and take risks. Greets challenge and change as opportunity A highly motivated fast learner who can self-start and \'figure out what needs figuring out\' Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively document artefacts and processes then explain them to others Basic Qualifications Bachelors in Engineering or Masters in Computer Science with 8+ years of relevant experience . Minimum 5 years as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment across multiple cross-functional teams . Agile Scrum Certifications (i.e. SAFe SSM, CSM, PMP-ACP, etc.) . Preferred Experience and Skills: Experience in working and managing Atlassian/Jira suite tool/Plan View Scrum Master in an Agile environment across multiple cross-functional teams Familiarity/Experience in SAFe framework Experience, instincts, and enthusiasm around testing and testability and driving quality objectives Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively document artifacts and processes then explain them to others Experience in coaching larger teams in agile practices like Scrum, SaFe Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, facilitating the ceremonies like backlog grooming, epic /User story, daily standups, estimation, and velocity, resolving impediments, sprint retrospection, coaching team members and usage of JIRA, Confluence, Plan View and metrics reporting. Strong communicator with effective presentation skills delivering formal presentations & facilitate Demo to various levels of management articulating project / sprint status, risk mitigations, benefits & financial realizations. Familiarity with the DevOps implementation focusing on the Continuous Integration and deployment leveraging automation building deployment pipelines with focus on quality and speed to market. Self-motivated and independent critical thinker who can visualize and guide team during conflicting situations to stay focused on business goals & priorities Has strong experience in Agile methodologies, Kanban, Scrum of Scrums, lean budget, managing release train, process improvements, provide training on Agile tools & dashboard. Effective conflict & impediments management in a fast-paced environment, take higher responsibilities working with cross functional team who are working on multiple priorities Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders and team members with variety of personal styles to focus on right priorities under pressure and tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must.
