AJob Function Working closely with the management of our IT business unit, the IT Sales and Business Development Manager is the technical and sales 1st point of contact for our clients and prospects. His/her mission is to demonstrate to potential clients how Guires standardized technology solutions fit into their business and technological environment and how they can positively impact them. A technical engineering and entrepreneurial mind-set as well as a very strong motivation to seize a challenging opportunity and succeed are necessary to support sales development and be successful in this exciting role. Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Saturday, 10:00a.m. to 7:00pm. Hours may vary on occasion, depending on workload. Pay Fixed Pay Starts at Rs. 25,000 per month, along with additional variable pay and performance bonuses based on achievements and targets met. Work Location Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Req. Qualification: BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field or computer sciences or equivalent Req. Experience:

  • 2+ years proven experience in direct or indirect sales with proven results in system integrator and/or Managed service business.
  • A proven successful sales experience with complex IT solutions (datacentre IT technologies, cloud, digital transformation, and digital assurance and / or Enterprise IT technologies)
  • Established existing corporate network with SMB and mid-market enterprises in APAC region will be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to quickly integrate company procedures, opportunities and constraints both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication skills in both technical and non-technical ways with colleagues and clients
  • Client orientated and very good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and to work in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment.
Req. Knowledge and Skills: \xc2\xb7 Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executiveor similar role \xc2\xb7 Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls) \xc2\xb7 Track record of achieving sales quotas \xc2\xb7 Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Bitrix24, Microsoft) \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with MS Excel (analysing spreadsheets and charts) \xc2\xb7 Understanding of sales performance metrics \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and negotiation skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to deliver engaging presentations. \xc2\xb7 Secondary skills in customer engagement and customer relationship management is also essential for this role. Key Responsibilities Maximize Sales
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Identifying potential clients and generating leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events and build a strong sales pipeline and achieve the company sales target and forecast.
  • Develop and execute sales pipeline on all IT products portfolio.
  • Organize sales and marketing campaigns and events.
  • Must have strong ability in market research and find out the new business segments.
  • Present our company to potential clients.
  • Present fitting products and services to clients and prepare commercial offers.
  • Maintain and develop high-level prospect and customer relationships to retain existing business and develop new opportunities.
  • Intelligence gathering on customers and competitors.
Pre-Sales Capabilities
  • Understanding client requirements and proposing suitable IT solutions that align with their business needs.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of IT products or services.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop effective strategies for promoting IT products and services.
  • Develop cross-selling opportunities with Guires technology partners.
  • Develop the company offer, bringing expertise on products and technical solutions in order to optimize deals and sales according to actual and potential customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs.
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market by conducting market research to identify potential clients, their needs, and pain points in the areas of cloud/data & analytics/automation/testing.
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments in the IT industry to remain competitive and informed.
  • Negotiating contracts and closing sales deals while ensuring that the terms are mutually beneficial for both the client and the company.
  • Providing after-sales support and addressing any customer concerns or issues that may arise.
