ABOUT UNIOPS: Unilever Operations (UniOps) is the global technology and operations engine of Unilever offering business services, technology, and enterprise solutions. UniOps serves over 190 locations and through a network of specialized service lines and partners delivers insights and innovations, user experiences and end-to-end seamless delivery making Unilever Purpose Led and Future Fit. EDDGIE is a transformation programme aimed at changing and upgrading the execution model for Modern Trade and making it future fit. EDDGIE digitizes our Execution, by using store level data to identify and prioritize stores and execution actions that generate the highest value potential across availability, visibility, and brand experience. This is a change versus a very manual or fragmented way of working that exists today. The deployment plan of EDDGIE is based on 20 Modern Trade markets, selected based on a mix of USG potential, F4G potential, availability of enablers and implementation capacity. Not only will data start to drive automation regarding the next best store to visit and the next best action to take, it will also highlight the best contact strategy for Unilever to support the customer and execute those actions. MAIN JOB PURPOSE: Define & manage the backlog and plan for delivery of the EDDGIE contact strategy deployments to ensure milestones and actions are met and dependencies are managed. Work with functional, testing, business, customers and platform SMEs to deliver the solution across multiple regions and resolve issues. Support the programme lead in PMO activities, including internal Unilever reporting, risks & issues tracking, creation of Orders & Cross Charges and spend monitoring. Manage the roadmap and align new functionality to internal delivery plans/ upgrades ensuring that the capabilities are compatible for Tier 1 & 2 markets. Hold Platform and Vendors to account on delivery and issue resolution for market deployment. Develop SME knowledge to drive improvements & innovations with markets, vendor partners and COE teams. Ensure own development accordingly to IDP. Provide guidance and feedback to Unilever contacts and External Teams. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Efficient Solution Designing: Applying subject expertise in evaluating business operations and processes. Identifying areas where technical solutions would improve business performance also determining whether technical solutions meet defined requirements. The role will capture end to end business requirements, analyse and feedback the business process requirements to the relevant functional teams, process owners and project stakeholders in alignment with the standardization strategy Advanced ability to recommend and implement technical solutions for cross-functional projects. Solution Delivery Governance: Providing subject expertise and guidance to IT developers during the software development life cycle. Overseeing the development, testing, and implementation of technical solutions. Help and support the EDDGIE Programme team in completing and delivering efficiently all specific activities (PGLS, Operational Guide & Support) and milestones, in alignment with project plans and deliverables, to ensure readiness of the business and successful go lives. Primarily identify if any risks or issues identified during delivering the project mitigate associated risks and escalate via the governance and relevant stakeholders when applicable. Process simplification/Innovation: Being involved in EDDGIE related initiative impacting to the new Operating Models. Solution evaluation to deliver the business requirements as well harmonize with Unilever IT strategic road map in global scale. The role must influence all business partners to achieve standardization of the solution for Modern Trade considering the benefit from a global template approach.
