Job Description

Responsible for overseeing the acquisition of various cloud-based products and services, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS), from distributors, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and other providers. This pivotal role involves strategizing, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring optimal pricing and quality for diverse cloud-based solutions. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Management: ? Identify, evaluate, and onboard distributors, OEM vendors, and SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS providers offering cloud services. ? Develop and maintain robust relationships with vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions. ? Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with vendors, optimizing for quality and cost-efficiency across the spectrum of cloud services. Procurement Strategy: ? Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company objectives for cloud services, encompassing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. ? Monitor market trends, technology advancements, and pricing models specifically in the IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS industries. ? Implement innovative procurement practices to streamline processes and enhance efficiency across different cloud service models. Contract Management: Oversee the creation and management of contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS agreements. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to finalize and review contractual agreements related to diverse cloud services. Cost Optimization: ? Analyse pricing structures, total cost of ownership, and negotiate competitive pricing for a spectrum of cloud services, focusing on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cost optimization. ? Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining high service quality standards across various cloud-based products. Collaboration and Communication: ? Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, and operations teams, to align procurement strategies with business needs across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms. ? Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth procurement process for diverse cloud-based solutions. Qualifications and Skills: ? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field. ? Proven experience of minimum 3 to 5 years in procurement, specifically in cloud services or IT procurement, encompassing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. ? Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship management skills across different cloud service providers, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS vendors. ? In-depth knowledge of cloud-based technologies, services, with a specific focus on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and market trends in these industries. ? Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions for various cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. ? Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
