Job Responsibilities

  • Define and implement IT project governance frameworks in line with NBFC regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with the CTO to evaluate the effectiveness, risks, and performance of digital transformation initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, KPI tracking, and cost monitoring.
  • Oversee multiple IT projects, tracking progress and achieving milestones.
  • Ensure project compliance with RBI and NBFC-specific IT regulations.
  • Manage IT budgets and optimise resource allocation.
  • Develop dashboards, MIS reports, and project status updates for senior leadership.
  • Implement change management best practices for smooth adoption of IT solutions.
  • Oversee IT vendors and service providers, ensuring SLA adherence.
  • Continuously refine IT project methodologies by introducing industry best practices.
  • Manage resources effectively, including capacity planning and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain structured product documentation for third-party stakeholders.
  • Conduct business analysis: identify problems, opportunities, and solutions.
  • Gather requirements, map process flows, and document business use cases.
  • Simplify and communicate business requirements to ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Assess change proposals and define actionable solutions.
  • Work with training teams to prepare change management/training plans.
  • Conduct business process modelling and prepare scenarios for technology testing.
  • Manage all phases of system integration: requirement gathering ? design ? build ? test ? deploy ? production.
  • Communicate technical details to non-IT stakeholders and functional details to IT teams.
Key Skills
  • Expertise in IT project planning, execution, monitoring, controls, and governance.
  • Strong ability in data quantification and analytics.
  • Designing KPI-driven metrics for IT projects and measuring ROI, risks, delinquency, and early warning signals.
  • Budgeting, planning, forecasting, monitoring, and cost-benefit analysis (CBA) for IT projects.
  • Designing corporate presentations and demos for investors and internal stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to organisational requirements.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with consultative and interpersonal abilities.
  • Deep understanding of RBI guidelines, NBFC IT regulations, and security policies.
  • Familiarity with CBS/CFSS, ERP (SAP, Dynamics 365), Loan Origination Systems (LOS), CRM platforms, APIs, Middleware, Finance ERP, Customer Apps, UI/UX, Digital Lending, Payment Systems, and IT infrastructure/application architecture.
  • Risk and dependency assessment with effective mitigation planning.
  • Project management experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project tracking tools (JIRA, MS Project).
  • Strong cost monitoring and IT expense management skills.
  • Ability to structure and document problems into analytical frameworks.
  • Skilled in SQL, Excel, and business requirement documentation (FSD, HLD, LLD, Use Cases).
