Job Responsibilities:

Decides how to re-use network designs.

Decides on approach to resolving customer affected issues to network platforms and/or customer solutions, as appropriate.

Decides on the time and type of resource needed to support deliverables for complex projects.

Delivers Right First-Time solutions.

Drives efficiency and scalability through the re-use of network designs and accountable for the design whilst it is deployed across the overall network platform and/or customer solution.

Proposes technical strategy to network platforms and/or customer solutions factoring in impact and risk as appropriate.

Provide design authority for complex solutions and/or platform designs in own area of expertise

Responsible for estimating the time and type of resource needed to support deliverables for complex, high impact and high value projects in own area of expertise/domain

Decides on design scope and design to network platforms and/or customer solutions

Decides on network models for design testing.

Develops design patterns in own technical domain.

Good knowledge of Windows & Unix / Linux & Hands on and good Experience on various Compliances & Vulnerabilities at Windows & Unix along with their resolution.

Good understanding of network monitoring concepts like Discovery, Fault Management, SNMP v1, v2c,v3 ,SNMP traps, Syslog, Netflow, MIB, Objects ,Disaster recovery, HA, Application Failover.

Hands on and good admin level Experience on various Network Monitoring tools like Microfocus NNM, Zabbix, NetBrain, Nagios

Hands on experience in CISCO, JUNIPER switches, Pfsense, Sonicwall, fortigate security devices

Potentially leads a small matrix team (virtual) and is accountable for network development using innovative approaches to design (including cross-portfolio solutions). Leverages technical resource/s as required to deliver the solution.

Provides consultancy on network designs for platforms and/or solutions.

Provides technical concurrence and sign off for elements of designs and/or network changes on Incubex core platforms and/or customer bids; accountable for identifying technical risk for major platforms.

Resolves in-life issues to network platforms and/or customer solutions, as appropriate

Responsible for estimating the time and type of resource needed to support deliverables for complex, high impact and high value projects in own area of expertise/domain

Responsible for following and contributing to design best practice within a unit.

Should work with various vendors/OEM partners in case of any Hardware failures to rectify/replace the reported issue

Requirements and skills: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in network domain

Deep understanding of Routing protocols, ability to plan, prioritize, organize, schedule, and execute assignments Deep understanding of switching and associated technologies.

Knowledge of hardware and able to suggest right equipment to meet customer need. Strong understanding of IP Networking Well-versed with design concepts like HLD, LLD and BOM.

Extensive knowledge of MS Visio and Other Network tools

CCNA/CCNP or equivalent desirable

Good understanding of software defined networking (SDN)

Should have minimum 2 to 3 years in any of the SDWAN Technology e.g., Cisco, SD WAN

Protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, BGP, MP-BGP, Multicast, Anycast, DSCP/QoS, VLAN, IPsec, SSL VPN

Understanding of IT infrastructure components, Cloud knowledge.
