Role Details To deliver Consumer Goods Innovations that delight consumers and minimise the environmental footprint, Unilever Research and Development (R&D) relies on SAP Product Life Cycle Management (SAP PLM) and various other R&D tools to execute their day to day work. We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect who will be part of the Unilever R&D IT platform team located in the Uniops Office in Bangalore. In addition the person will take on responsibilities to Accountabilities and responsibilities: Perform upgrade activities on cloud resources (Azure and GCP) Establish monitoring and observability capabilities to bolster system resilience and optimize performance. Supply necessary support for Infrastructure & Technology to drive innovations. Maintain infrastructure to comply with audit requirements and cyber security requirements Oversee software renewals, license expenses, and infrastructure cost management. Provide continuous support for R&D Applications during normal operations for incidents, problems, and service requests pertaining to IT infrastructure. Contribute to IT Service Delivery goals by upholding governance for Change & Release Management, adhering to IT KPIs, ensuring Service Continuity, and complying with Information Security regulations. Guarantee seamless transition of services from Project phase to Operations. Talent Management - Foster a High-Performing team, cultivate a digital culture and mindset within teams, nurture talent, and ensure retention of domain knowledge within UniOps. Skills we\'re looking for: Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform experience Business partnering experience. Awareness of evolving Cloud concepts like IoT, Kubernetes and Containers Awareness of emerging technologies: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) IT Vendor Management Experience in managing large scale End to End Support Operations across technology and product stacks (Azure and Google Cloud) Strong understanding of IT Service Management concepts to deliver IT as a Service Good Working knowledge of IT systems landscapes Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong & trustworthy relationships with people from across different functions.
