The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing all hotel technology systems, ensuring smooth daily operations, data security, and high service standards. This role supports both front-of-house and back-of-house systems including PMS, POS, networking, servers, guest Wi-Fi, telephony, CCTV, and other hospitality applications. The IT Manager ensures maximum uptime, timely technical support, and compliance with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Systems & Infrastructure Management
Manage PMS (Opera/Fidelio), POS, Accounts, HR, Inventory, and other hotel software.
Maintain servers, network devices, firewalls, and data backups.
Monitor guest Wi-Fi performance and security.
Oversee telecommunication systems (IP phones, PBX).
2. IT Support & Troubleshooting
Provide 24/7 support for all hotel departments.
Resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs and upgrades.
3. Data Security and Compliance
Implement cybersecurity protocols and antivirus systems.
Manage data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Ensure compliance with brand standards and data protection laws (GDPR/PCI DSS).
4. Project & Upgrade Management
Plan and execute IT projects, system upgrades, new software rollouts.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and guest experience.
Coordinate with corporate IT for strategic alignment.
5. Asset Management & Budgeting
Maintain hardware and software inventory.
Prepare and manage IT budget.
Negotiate with technology vendors and service providers.
6. Team Management (if applicable)
Supervise IT support staff / technicians.
Conduct training for staff on systems and security practices.
7. Guest Experience Enhancement
Ensure high-performance guest internet and digital services.
Support in-room technology, IPTV, mobile apps, key card systems, kiosks, etc.
8. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain IT policies, SOPs, licenses, and network documentation.
Prepare monthly IT performance reports and incident logs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
