Position Description: Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center is seeking a Software Development Manager for its Engineering & Product Support(E&PS) team. An ideal candidate will be excited for the challenge to transform and think critically on many computer science disciplines including product design, usability, building APIs, scaling applications, digital transformation and high reliability. Candidate is expected to be a combination of a highly-technical software engineering leader and an effective people manager. Resource will manage and grow a talented team tasked with solving complex problems within a high-growth environment. Team will develop and drive strategy to hire, develop and mobilize talent for the organization. Team will set clear objectives and goals for the team and enable the team to deliver and using operating mechanisms to continually assess progress and improve. Person should be effective in interaction with senior technical and functional leaders to lead change through business processes and technologies. Selected resource will own the complete software development lifecycle defining, prioritizing, designing, and leading implementation and testing of new features. Basic Qualification(Skills/ Experience): Proven success in leading fast-paced software development teams delivering software 12+ years of meaningful experience preferred Ability to recruit, train and lead each team member to reach their potential Demonstrated success in leading Agile/SCRUM teams to architect, code and support online products Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with various technical team leaders and members Ability to define algorithms, validate, and deploy solutions to achieve business results. Experience of 10+ years of experience with some or all of the technical stack is helpful Java, JEE/ .NET,C#, JUnit/NUnit Javascript/NodeJs/JQuery HTML5/CSS/Bootstrap, Angular.js/React/Knockout/Backbone Jenkins, Mavern/ANT ,Bitbucket, Ansible/Chef/Puppet, Jira/TFS/Clearcase RDBMS/NoSQL and SOA/Microservices Complete knowledge of the concepts and processes of managing a software system throughout the entire life cycle. Ability to participate in all stages of the software development life cycle. Must have excellent debugging and problem solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills to work in a globally distributed team Experience developing / managing application development related to Engineering/Manufacturing domain (eg. Flight Testing, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Certification/Safety) Experience in Aerospace domain. Desired Skills: Product mindset/Experience with SAFe Education Qualification: Must have Bachelor\'s or Master\'s Degree with 12+ years of experience.
