Technical Support: Acting as first-line support for hardware and software issues via phone, email, or in person. This includes password resets, printer troubleshooting, and resolving minor software glitches. System Maintenance: Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals (printers, scanners), and applications. Network & Infrastructure: Supporting the setup and configuration of network devices like routers and switches, and monitoring network performance. Documentation: Creating and updating IT procedures, user guides, and internal knowledge base articles to improve troubleshooting workflows. Security & Data Management: Monitoring antivirus updates, assisting with system backups, and participating in security protocols. Project Assistance: Contributing to larger initiatives such as software deployments, cloud infrastructure management, or automation projects. Required Qualifications & Skills Companies typically look for candidates currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Technical Skills: Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and sometimes Linux.
