Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
Regular maintenance of hardware to ensure optimal performance and reduced downtime.
Network management including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, and access control.
Monitor network connectivity, bandwidth utilization, and implement necessary actions for improvement.
Software & System Administration
Installation and updating of operating systems and licensed software as per requirement.
Troubleshooting HIS (Hospital Information System), PACS, DICOM, LIS, etc.
Coordination with software vendors for system issues, upgrades, and enhancements.
Ensure user access control, password policies, and software compliance.
Data Security & Backup
Maintain data backups and ensure availability of hospital data in case of system failure.
Implement antivirus, system security patches, and monitor malware threats.
Manage data privacy protocols following healthcare compliance standards.
Technical Support
Provide L1 & L2 IT support to medical, clinical, and administrative staff.
Resolve IT complaints via ticketing or helpdesk system within defined TAT.
Conduct training for staff on basic systems and application usage.
CCTV & Biometric Management
Monitor and maintain CCTV surveillance system and DVR/NVR configurations.
Manage biometric attendance machines, user registration, and issue resolution.
Procurement & Inventory Management
Maintain IT asset inventory (hardware, accessories, licenses).
Assist in vendor coordination, procurement, and AMC management.
Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate in IT, Computer Science, BCA, Diploma in Hardware & Networking or equivalent.
2-4 years of experience in IT Support, preferably in a hospital environment.
Strong knowledge in Windows/Linux environment, networking protocols, and hardware troubleshooting.
Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a healthcare setup.
