Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules\xe2\x80\x99 firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone with a strong background and interest in IT engineering and support. The role will consist of a mix of hands-on engineering as well as interacting with end-users/running the help desk. The ideal candidate is comfortable with a startup environment, and sees both the benefits of agility and the opportunities for creating predictable outcomes/defining standard processes. While seeing and understanding the big picture, the ideal candidate is also focused on crossing t\xe2\x80\x99s and dotting i\xe2\x80\x99s, new technologies or processes are not a threat, but an opportunity to learn something new.

As an IT Engineer for a startup, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the workforce infrastructure and applications. Your responsibilities will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and networks, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing end-user support. This role requires a deep understanding of various IT technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10+ years of industry experience
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure setup, network management, system administration, and end-user support.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS.
• Expertise with workforce SaaS solutions, such as Okta, GSuite, Slack, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot major corporate SaaS providers \xe2\x80\x93 Okta, G-Suite, Slack, GitHub, Zoom, Box, Slack, Jira, etc.
• Manage and troubleshoot network connectivity in office(s) and support remote user connectivity.
• Configure and operate fleet management (MDM) solutions -e.g., InTune, Kandji, Meraki, and managing user end-points (MacOS, Windows); you have hands-on expertise and know both how to configure systems manually yet also know when and how to use management tools.
• Technical Support: Provide end-user support by diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues. Respond to IT help desk tickets and troubleshoot problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, and IT services. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee service-level agreements (SLAs).
