About IT Department:
The digital infrastructure is undergoing modernization and includes a mix of cloud environments and on-premises data centres all part of the enterprise network. The modernization initiative will allow the model of accessibility from anywhere. This flexibility is dynamic and integrates innovation, automation and optimization. The IT department provides governance for using the network and operating systems and assists in delivering the operational units the necessary functionality. The IT department controls the company\'s architecture, hardware, software, and network.

Role Overview:
The IT Engineer will analyse current systems and assets, recommend, and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training to other team members. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network maintenance, experience as a technical manager, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. The IT Engineer will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our operations and a long-term impact on our overall growth.

• Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs.
• Working closely with other department Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company\xe2\x80\x99s network.
• Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative.
• Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software and reporting this information to other IT leaders and stakeholders.
• Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, server systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
• Creating rational strategies for upgrading the company\xe2\x80\x99s network software whenever a new update is available.
• Constructing and implementing plans to ensure the company\xe2\x80\x99s network continues to operate smoothly in the event of a problem.
• Ability to understand and apply knowledge of network concepts, techniques, and principles.

• 5+ years of experience in IT management.
• Deep knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (Microsoft365, Azure Cloud, Atlassian, Cloud backups), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring.
• Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.
• Strong creative and analytical thinking.
• Excellent organizational, time management and follow-through skills.
• Experience in network administration.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
