A colleague and teamplayer who can manage SAP master data project and maintenance work in cooperation with GBS-MDM stakeholder to ensure a consistent SAP master data system and secure master data quality.

• Plan, design, (develop), test and maintain Master Data Workflows in SAP ERP (ECC/ S4HANA)
• Analyse business requirements and design an adequate and beneficial MD solution
• Review, maintain and update existing solutions as needed
• Perform root cause analysis of issues and defects
• Develop technical specifications
• Take ownership of defined work packages in contributing to international (agile) projects
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with technical and functional team members and business users
• Train users and create comprehensible documentation and guidelines
• Explore new technologies and float in new learnings to current MD environment for continuous improvement

What will you be doing?

Support, guide and consult Clariant Businesses

• Analyse complex business cases to design an adequate and beneficial MD solution
• Identify business demand for new or changed requirements/processes based on tickets in ServiceNow
• Support projects over the complete application development and maintenance cycle
• Align with team lead activities and business demand to agree on priorities and resources/efforts

Support assigned Applications/Processes

• Analyze and assess application incidents and provide solutions within defined timeframes
• Identify potential for techn., data or process oriented improvements, provide proposals for realization
• Develop technical specifications
• Planning, design, develop, test and implement MD changes/solutions and workflows.

Management and Implementation of Service Order/Project related activities

• Support assessments of new business requirements and prepare solutions
• Realize business demand along IT Application standards
• Support SOA and projects in close collaboration with IT-Application requestors and project managers
• Acts along standards, policies, guidelines and contribute to its permanent improvement

Documentation and Training

• Identify demand for application training and prepare/enhance appropriate training material
• Delivers high quality documentation
• Continuously keeps his/her professional skills up-to-date

What do we expect?

Education:

• A Bachelor`s degree or equivalent in Computer Science with 5 and more years of related working experience

Business experience:

• Proven consulting expertise in the designated area/technology (preferred with certification)
• Verificable success in projects, consulting activities or technology related improvements
• Sound experience in IT Business Consulting or comparable job experiences
