• Service Design and Onboarding new projects of Manufacturing IT (Participation in Due Diligence, defining roadmap for Service onboarding, Support in development of transition plan, competency development, facilitate takeover of task and go-live support)
• Implementing regulations and standards for ITM (IT for Manufacturing) based on defined concepts and processes
• Implementation and continuous support of IT applications for manufacturing, creating central specifications for IT concept
• Deployment and Configuration of Manufacturing IT (i4.0) containerized applications
• Application & infrastructure technical support for Manufacturing IT (i4.0) containerized applications
• Close collaboration with Application development team, infrastructure team and Network team to provide day-to-day operations support for the application
• Technical Escalation support, Collaboration with onsite /offshore team, Technical documentation, Automation and Training delivery
• Coordination and Collaboration with plant management/technician and relevant ITM departments
• Optimization of IT infrastructure management processes (according to ITIL)
• Quality delivery of services committed to the customer as per the defined Service Levels and KPI\'s
• Should be able travel to customer location for business needs, Provide On-Call readiness support on need basis

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and client-server architectures
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Istio Service mesh
• Linux - CLI and Basic knowledge of various components work (kernel, CPU, memory, disk, network
• Kubernetes core concepts
• Containerization and Docker essentials
• Scripting (Bash and YAML)
• Experience in Infrastructure automation and DevOps tools (Ansible/ Terraform/ Jenkins/ Argo CD)
• Support for Kubernetes based projects to resolve critical and complex technical issues
• Performing application deployments & configuration on Kubernetes cluster
• Deployment, ReplicaSet, DaemonSet, Statefulsets, Jobs.
• Managing Kubernetes secrets & Kubernetes storages (PV, PVC, Storage Classes, Provisioners)
• Kubernetes Networking ( Services, Endpoints, DNS, LoadBalancers)
• Deeply engage with our stakeholders to understand their architecture and operations, and work to continuously improve their overall Kubernetes support experience
• ITIL Service Management Framework (Incident, Change, Problem Management)

Added value if you have

• Experience in setting up monitoring and alerting for Kubernetes cluster using open source monitoring tools like Icinga, Prometheus, ELK stack
• Experience in helm charts
• Network infrastructure Deep understanding (VPN, IPsec, Firewall, Load balancing setup and Security implementation)
• Database Administration (Oracle / MySQL / MongoDB / Influx DB)
• IT for Manufacturing - i4.0 concepts
• Working knowledge of various tools and open-source technologies
• ITIL v3 / v4 Foundation certification preferred
