Roles and Responsibilities

3 Years of SAP Basis experience

Responsible for end to end SAP landscape management, Monitoring & administration.
Responsible for SAP R/3 , BI and EP servers administration and maintenance.
SAP application administration, Data Base administration and
Memory Management, Operating System administration and management.
CTS/STMS administration and management.
Client management activities (Client Administration, Client Copy, Client Export,
Remote Client Copy, Client Deletion)
System updates using OSS notes, support packs, patch management and kernel upgrade.
Proactive monitoring, trouble shooting and tuning of the SAP systems
BRSPACE and Import/Export.
Monitoring of SAP R/3 start up problems using trace files and system logs. Performance
Monitoring. System monitoring and troubleshooting.
Database monitoring, Back up management and Data base performance management.
Troubleshooting SAP Spool Administration, Printer Management and system related user
problem.
Documentation of critical system operation procedures and solutions for issues .
Administration of Solution manager.
Analysis and Implementation of early watch recommendations.
Review and manage Basis related incidents, escalating where appropriate to
associate like SAP , IBM and SAP AMS support partner .
short dumps, system logs, DB alerts, SQL traces, lock entries
Performance tuning for the production and development server.
Performed homogeneous system copy from production to quality
Documentation of all SAP activities like data base growth, downtimes, day to day activities.
Coordinating with hardware (IBM/TCS), Software (SAP) and OS vendor / associate.
