Cybersecurity Analyst for IT Security Tools and Services

Chennai, India

You will join our Cybersecurity department

As one of our new IT Security Analysts, you will be part of a team of skilled security professionals and consultants tasked with managing and developing Ramboll's global cyber and information security programmes.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

Perform vulnerability assessment to identify control weaknesses and assess the effectiveness of existing controls.

Coordinate with concerned stakeholders and recommend remedial actions for identified vulnerability on systems and applications.

Collaborate with other cybersecurity and IT teams in troubleshooting and identifying resolution of reported security incidents.

Actively monitor for new cybersecurity threats related to the Ramboll's IT infrastructure.

Identify and develop new cybersecurity solutions for protecting Ramboll's IT systems and applications.

Coordinate and support responses to security audits and questionnaires from customers, authorities and regulatory bodies

Create and improve existing documentation of Rambolls security posture.

Work with information security leadership to develop strategies and plans to enforce security requirements and address identified risks.

Manage internal information and cyber security advisory services.

Perform security assessments and provide advice in assigned IT development and procurement projects

Has a working knowledge on automating routine BAU cybersecurity related work. Not a must have but good to have.

Organize cybersecurity data and report it in a way that is meaningful to business units within the company.

Participate in management and development of Information Security Management System

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity or a related field

Min. 1-3 years' experience from a security audit, analysis or service management role.

Experience in developing, documenting and maintaining security policies, processes, procedures and standards

Experience with any of the industry recognised vulnerability scanning tools.

Exposure and working knowledge to the tools used in an offensive operating system such as Kali or Parrot Linux suite.

Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and the associated network protocols and concepts.]

These skills are not strictly required but will be helpful in this role:

[Any cybersecurity certification.

Linux experience in general.

Actively participate in different CTFs and practised cybersecurity learning boxes such as THM, HTB etc.

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:

Strong analytical skills.

Ability to interact with personnel across all business units and customers.

Good written and verbal communication skills - excellent English is a must.

Passion for providing excellent support - including ability to manage expectations effectively.
