IS Project Manager, AMEA ERP CoE

This is a IS Project Manager,AMEA ERP CoE role will be reporting to Head of AMEA ERP CoE in Motion Business based in Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible for for the delivery and management of SAP projects Aligns with the vision that is created by the AMEA ERP CoE, IS goals and objectives.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure successful delivery of the IS (Information Systems) project and closely collaborating with the business project manager on overall project success and all required project documentation.
• Monitor and control project financials, including oversight of budget consumption and project invoicing.
• Proactively work with IS and business leadership to establish project management plans (plan projects, objectives, value/benefits, scope, timeline, resources, cost, and risks) for assigned projects.
• Ensure consistent project communications, including formal project status reporting on performance against plan and expected business outcomes.
• Proactively manage project issues and scope changes to minimize the impact on the comprehensive execution plan.
• Identify and manage project risks, ensuring appropriate risk mitigation plans are in place and schedules are managed according to the risk conditions
• Ensure solutions and services are fully compliant with security, controls and standards and Facilitate project closure, including value delivery assessments and capture of key lessons learned.

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 7+ relevant years of experience in managing projects preferably in the SAP domain.
• PMP® certification and SAP Experience is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills; ability to negotiate resolution of issues with businesses and 3rd party suppliers.
• Demonstrated customer focus with the ability to build effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Knowledge on application development processes, including thorough knowledge of IT service management concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Experience using Microsoft Project, Planview or similar project management tools is an added advantage and Effective spoken and written English is must.
