about the role key accountabilities key result / decision areas (outcomes) Implementation of new IP services projects in Open Transit Contribution with Engineering to technical evolution of backbones and services. Validation of technical documentation provided by Engineering team. Organization of pilot phases on Open Transit infrastructures. Go/No Go decisions before general deployment Contribute to major projects of WFEO such as Automation of network operations Timely delivery of new POP, infrastructures or services to customers Technical management of Open Transit infrastructures and platforms Relations with suppliers: follow up and integration of operational requirements in new technologies and services evolutions Participation to operational reviews and steering committees with suppliers Project management or participation to network software/hardware deployments Knowledge transfer to other operational teams Application of the global security Highest quality of service delivered to customers by all OTI deployed infrastructures Technical support to Open Transit operational teams Reactive and real time support to operational teams in case of complexes issues Proactive support in leading or participating to root cause analysis, problem and bug management with suppliers and engineering teams. about you knowledge and abilities Excellent knowledge of communication standards and OSI/commercial protocols as follows: MPLS, IP, PPP/IP Dial, IS-IS, RIP, OSPF, BGP4, M-BGP,L2VPN / VPLS, Multicast Expert level of knowledge and hands on troubleshooting experience on one or more than one of the following technologies: Cisco routers , Juniper routers Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting skills. Good understanding of Telecom Service providers Networks and Services Experience in vendor management role as a member of highest technical support team Ability to work in virtual, multicultural multisite environment knowledge on automation and software/script programming education, qualifications, and certifications University degree or equivalent experience (Computer or Telecommunications or Networking) experience 6 -9 Years experience in telecom / IT Industry preferably in telecom service provider backbone network International exposure and work in transversal mode Project management experience In depth hands on technical knowledge and exposure to high end core network elements job skills and certifications International exposure IP Expertise Cisco, Juniper certifications Project Management Communication, leadership, organization Fluent in English Select up to a maximum of 20 skills or certifications.
