About this Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead IPE Configuration Testing and drive automation of SOX controls within the Group FinOps & Controls Team. Based in Pune, this role is central to Vodafone's compliance and governance strategy, supporting over 100,000 users across 20+ countries. The individual will collaborate with global teams, auditors, and business stakeholders to ensure robust control mechanisms and continuous improvement in automation practices.
What you'll do

  • Design, develop and test automated processes and controls for SOX compliance.
  • Conduct IPE Configuration Testing and Interface Testing across local markets.
  • Lead planning and delivery of the s404 automation roadmap.
  • Identify and implement control rationalisation opportunities.
  • Drive training and knowledge-sharing sessions on automation.
  • Collaborate with COP, COE and business teams to address process gaps and introduce technology-driven controls.
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external audit teams and global stakeholders.
Who you are
  • A qualified Chartered Accountant, CISA, MBA, M.Tech or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of post-qualification experience in process and controls automation or SOX compliance.
  • Strong technical and governance mindset with hands-on experience in financial process automation.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, audit coordination, and strategic planning.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment, demonstrating sound judgement and adaptability.
  • Experience in telecom and systems audit is desirable.
