About IGI The International Gemmological Institute (IGI) is a globally recognized gemological organization, committed to excellence, innovation, and transparency in gemstone certification. As a listed MNC with operations worldwide, IGI values its stakeholders and is now looking to build a robust Investor Relations function. Role Overview We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead the Investor Relations function and act as the bridge between IGI and its investors, analysts, and the financial community. This strategic role demands a strong understanding of capital markets, financial analysis, corporate finance, and the ability to clearly communicate the company's vision, financial performance, and growth strategy to key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities o Investor Communication & Strategy o Develop and implement the investor relations strategy in alignment with IGI's overall business objectives. o Act as the key point of contact for investors, analysts, and rating agencies. o Prepare investor presentations, quarterly earnings materials, press releases, and other disclosures. o Organize earnings calls, investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences. o Financial & Market Analysis o Monitor industry trends, peer performance, and market sentiment. o Provide insights and strategic recommendations to the management team based on investor feedback and capital market conditions. o Collaborate with Finance and Strategy teams for budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. o Compliance & Governance o Ensure compliance with SEBI and stock exchange regulations concerning disclosures and investor communications. o Support the CFO and Company Secretary in preparing board materials, annual reports, and AGM-related investor communication. o Capital Market Engagement o Work closely with investment bankers, analysts, and institutional investors. o Lead debt/equity fundraising activities and investor due diligence in coordination with internal and external stakeholders. o Build long-term relationships with financial institutions and rating agencies. Ideal Candidate Profile o Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent with 10-15 years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Treasury roles. o Strong exposure to capital markets, fundraising (debt/equity), and working with MNCs or listed entities. o Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. o Hands-on experience in financial modeling, business valuation, M&A, and project finance. o Strong relationships with institutional investors, banks, and private equity/venture capital firms. o International experience and multi-cultural exposure, particularly in India, UAE, and other global markets, is a plus. Preferred Background Candidates with experience at financial institutions or conglomerates in senior finance roles such as: o Executive VP - Investment Banking / Corporate Finance o Investor Relations Leader in a listed company
