As part of the Investment Solutions & Services (ISS) Technology group, this role contributes to building and maintaining world-class data platforms that enable efficient investment operations and analytical capabilities. The position requires deep expertise in investment data management, strong stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions. The individual will lead the design, development, and execution of data product strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. The role demands strong leadership in managing analysts, coordinating cross-functional data initiatives, and maintaining the integrity and accuracy of critical data assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead investment data outcomes and capabilities within the ISS Data Programme.
• Define and communicate the data product vision, roadmap, and strategy.
• Manage and coach data analysts, promoting collaboration and performance excellence.
• Oversee data quality management, validation frameworks, and governance practices.
• Collaborate with business architecture and technology teams to build data solutions.
• Align data product designs with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and track product backlogs, documentation, and planning deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with senior management, providing strategic insights and updates.
• Drive workshops, document key discussions, and ensure timely execution of action points.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and data-driven process improvements.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality data delivery.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Over 15 years of experience in financial services or asset management with a strong focus on data-driven outcomes.
• 5-10 years as a Data Product Owner delivering enterprise-level solutions using platforms such as Snowflake, Oracle, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of investment data domains -- including financial, market, risk, and performance data.
• Strong understanding of data governance, management, and data lifecycle in investment management.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and drive consensus at senior levels.
• Strategic thinking combined with hands-on problem-solving and analytical ability.
• Experience with SQL, Excel, and familiarity with data modelling and architecture.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a commitment to collaboration and innovation.
• Passionate about driving efficiency, improving data integrity, and fostering a data-first culture.
