. Investment Analyst + Deal Scout
Background:
A young gun 2-3 years. Ex-consulting, PE analyst, IB analyst, or fintech research. Must be comfortable drowning in data, stalking founders, scanning filings, reading offer documents, and prepping deal models you'll skim for 11 seconds.
Experience:

• Financial modelling
• Sector research
• Deal pipeline creation
• Knows how to cold-call, build decks, and chase bankers

Budget:
?12 lakh - ?15 lakh CTC per year

• Research sectors, companies, and opportunities
• Create IMs, pitch decks, and investment notes
• Coordinate diligence--legal, financial, forensic
• Manage the CRM of all bankers, brokers, funds, and deal peddlers
• Bring opportunities before they hit the broader market

Academic qualification:

• CFA Level 1 or 2 -- Analysts without CFA are like biryani without masala.
• NISM Equity Research / Investment Advisor certification
• Valuation Certifications from IVSC, EY, or corporate finance institutes

(Half of them are scams, but HR loves the logos.)
