It has expanded its footprints across India and the US.What are we looking for:Scaler Academy is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to manage and improve our organization\'s financial and accounting operations. Duties for the financial controller will include managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial informationKey Responsibilities:- Managing accounting operations (Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Vendor -Payments, General Ledger and Counsel, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition)- Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period- Perform analysis of financial results and conclude the cause of variances such as accounting issues and economic events- Prepare financial statements as per the requirements- Handle regulatory reporting requirements to SEC, Federal Reserve, CFTC, UK FCA (AIFMD), etc.- Safeguard the reputation of the firm by controlling and supporting the entity, as well as ensuring that they are in compliance with the firm\'s policies and with the rules/regulations/- Managing the audit process and liaising with external personnel as required- Managing tax compliance and coordinating with external tax consultants- Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial reports.- Cash flow management- Development, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls.- Handle reporting requirements to Senior ManagementQualifications, Skills, and Experience:- Chartered Accountant with 4+ years of work experience (excluding articleship)- Experience working with Big4 audit firms in audit departments or handling Big4 as auditors- Experience working with fast-paced startupsScaler in News:- https://www.vccircle.com/sequoia-backed-scaler-academy-scoops-up-55-mn-at-valuation-of-710-mn- https://www.thehindubusinessline.com/companies/scaler-eyes-to-turn-profitable-in-fy24/article67213077.ece- https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/industry/services/education/scaler-launches-scaler-school-of-technology-a-four-year-residential-ug-program-in-computer-science/articleshow/99109738.cms?from=mdr
