Main purpose of the job and key background information

Job description:

Plan, edit and write impactful content for a variety of internal communications media including emails, newsletters and intranet that fuels employee engagement and improves connectivity and culture within the firm

Use internal tools to improve internal communication and maintain brand, messaging, images, and identity

Plan/Support a range of events (webcasts, campus programs, award ceremonies, etc.) including evaluating existing and creating new ones

Draft messages or scripts from senior executives and leaders for presentations/emails

Review and edit communications drafted by internal stakeholders

Create specific communications action plans, timelines, and defined deliverables that support the communication of internal messages

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate employee communications content into overall company goals and messaging

Have proven ability to create engaging and impactful content and craft key messages related to employee/human resources matters

Have strong listening and communications skills, both written and oral

Work hand in hand with stakeholders to synergize corporate messaging

Be proficient in multiple forms of communications technologies and approaches

Possess an understanding of social media tools and messaging for business purposes

Be adaptable, proactive, deadline-driven and detail-oriented

Demonstrate expert proficiency with MS Office and G-Suite Applications
