Job Description

The Intern - Performance Management System (PMS) will work closely with the VP - HR to research, design, and assist in implementing a robust performance management framework across the organization. This role involves industry benchmarking, best-practice research, and development of Balanced Scorecards (BSCs) for various departments. It is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about HR strategy, analytics, and performance improvement to gain hands-on exposure to enterprise-level HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Research & Industry Benchmarking

  • Conduct in-depth research on the latest trends and practices in performance management across industries.
  • Benchmark best-in-class PMS models and identify elements suitable for adaptation within the organization.
  • Compile insights into structured reports and presentations for leadership review.
2. Balanced Scorecard (BSC) Development
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for various functions.
  • Assist in building Balanced Scorecards that align individual, departmental, and organizational goals.
  • Support in defining performance metrics and weightage frameworks for different roles.
3. Data Analysis & Insights
  • Collect, organize, and analyze performance data to support HR decision-making.
  • Develop templates and dashboards for performance tracking and reporting.
  • Present data-driven insights to help refine the PMS model.
4. Policy Support & Documentation
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing PMS-related policies and process documents.
  • Support the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for performance evaluation cycles.
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with organizational values and long-term strategy.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work with HR Business Partners, L&D, and department leaders to integrate PMS with broader HR initiatives.
  • Coordinate meetings, feedback sessions, and follow-ups related to PMS design and implementation.
6. Project Support
  • Help plan timelines, deliverables, and milestones for PMS rollout.
Track project progress and ensure adherence to schedules.
Requirements
  • Pursuing MBA / Master's in HR, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Interest in HR strategy, organizational development, and performance management frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and collaborate effectively across teams.
