As a Process Development Engineering Intern in Micron's R&D/Technology Development group, you will work on world-class, state-of-the-art semiconductor processes available in few locations in the entire world. Our leading-edge technology makes features less than 10nm. You will contribute and learn about process module development for memory devices, in addition to other process and process integration related activities! You will work with Micron engineers, technology partners and vendors to develop unit processes that meet device requirements for next-generation semiconductors, integrate processes as part of our team, and ultimately provide technology that transfers to Micron’s worldwide manufacturing network. Our process development teams work in the fields of Optical lithography, Plasma Etching, Wet Chemical Processing, Thin Film and Metal depositions, and Chemical-Mechanical Planarization. As part of this team, Micron is looking for engineers with skills in Data Science. Our modern semiconductor fab can produce billions of bits of data. With individually addressable yield data, Optical Emission Spectra, MEMS Microbalance weight data, In-line RGA, On-board Scatterometry, On-Board Imaging, and many others IoT sources, the possibilities to integrate Engineering + Data Science are endless.
