Qualifications:

• Computer Science (CS) or relevant technical degree program is a plus, though we willconsider non-traditional, non-CS degreed applicants.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Experience reading and writing code in a programming language
• Experience working collaboratively towards project goals and deadlines

Desired Experience

• Participate in identifying and framing user-centred problems effectively.

• Participate in problem identification and solutioning workshops.
• Create low- to high-fidelity sketches, wireframes, content, and prototypes to communicate concepts and ideas.
• Assist in planning and execution of research experiments and heuristic reviews to evaluate the usefulness and usability of product features.
• Collaborate with the product and engineering teams throughout the agile planning, design and development process to deliver released product that meets design intent.
• Collaborate with your team to ensure product experiences meet UX quality standards for workflow, interaction design and micro-copy.

• Education, Experience, & Skills Required

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology,
• Computer Science, Business or related disciplines.
• 0-2 years of professional experience.
• Preliminary understanding of UX ideation and design techniques.
• Experience observing users as part of field studies and evaluative testing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Understanding of interaction design best practices and heuristics.
• Take the time to clearly define a problem statement at the start of any significant work.
• Willingness to jump into any aspect of work to help achieve results.
• Forge strong relationships and work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.

• Make good and timely decisions that keep projects moving forward.
• Adapt to ever-changing needs of a dynamic business.

• Seek out, absorb and appropriately respond to feedback and guidance from more senior design team members and other colleagues
