Intern: Infrastructure

PURPOSE:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

\xc2\xb7Be part of a cloud infrastructure team that focuses on providing and supporting solutions in the public cloud.

\xc2\xb7Participate in projects to migrate existing workloads to the cloud following established standards.

\xc2\xb7Support application teams in refactoring applications from legacy technologies to cloud native technologies.

\xc2\xb7Ensure that security and governance standards are maintained for workloads and overall environment.

\xc2\xb7Automate as much as possible.

\xc2\xb7Supports and executes integration, implementation and support of Cloud based Infrastructure, networking technologies, systems and services.

\xc2\xb7Installing and supporting advanced server-based infrastructure, containers supporting digital applications, and related traffic management.

\xc2\xb7Develop and support automation for management of Infrastructure

\xc2\xb7Identify innovative, cost-effective ways to provide enterprise infrastructure support.

\xc2\xb7Perform administrative functions related to monitoring, support, and project activities.

\xc2\xb7Prepare and communicate status, issues, and opportunities to the business.

\xc2\xb7Participate in on-call rotation and related activities.

Qualifications

SKILLS /QUALIFICATIONS:

\xc2\xb74 years degree in Computer Information Systems or an equivalent combination of coursework

\xc2\xb7Exposure to supporting Container-based Technologies and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, AKS

\xc2\xb7Knowledge of Virtualization technologies: KVM, RedHat Enterprise Virtualization, BHyve

\xc2\xb7Good understanding of public cloud and strong working knowledge of MS Azure

\xc2\xb7Strong experience in one or more configurations and desired state management solutions such as Ansible /AWX , Terraform , Harness

\xc2\xb7Strong working knowledge of Elastic , Kibana , ELK , Artifactory , Jfrog

\xc2\xb7CICD Experience knowledge of Jenkins, Git , Stash , Atlassian tool kit /JIRA administration

\xc2\xb7Scripting knowledge of Shell , Python , Perl

\xc2\xb7Knowledge of Performance Monitoring/Alerting: Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, ELK/EFK Stack, Dynatrace

\xc2\xb7Knowledge of logical infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SSH, etc.

\xc2\xb7Ability to work on-call, after hours, to troubleshoot advanced support calls

\xc2\xb7Excellent communication and collaboration skills
