The Influencer Head is responsible for management of Business development and creating a brand name in the market for the franchisee for cross border transactions sales. He / She will assist / support the BD and the RM teams and manage integrated sales and relationship for commercial clients, drive client-centric solutions to differentiate Citi in the marketplace and achieve substantial growth targets for the business on Fx. Ensure scorecard metrics are achieved, through partnership with Influencers & internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • To meet FX revenue and New Client Acquisition through partnerships with influencers viz. law firms & business consultants.
  • Engaging multiple internal stake holders viz ICRM, Product partners, IBC & Ops to close mandates
  • Have existing & also strengthen relationships with partners at Law firms, CAs & Business consultants to get referrals for deals and new client incorporations.
  • Developing relationships with BDs and BD Heads for driving influencer channel as a primary stream of Fx revenue month on month.
  • Build market network to supplement prospecting efforts, by engaging with Intermediaries, & Trade councils.
  • Conducting various sessions and reach outs to Influencers to be top of recall within influencers viz. law firms & business consultants.
  • Winning mandates of M&A transactions thru query resolutions & solutioning for external partners.
  • Training internal team viz. BDs & RMs through various steps and hurdles and support them in closure for complex transactions.
  • Work closely with IBC and compliance team to ease out processes for quicker TATs
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi\'s policies / guidelines at all times
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience
  • In-depth knowledge of all aspects of FEMA and an ability to interpret regulatory policies & internal processes
  • Possesses sound judgment in advising and providing solutions to clients.
  • Significant experience with cross border transactions viz. FEMA, Trade, Escrow, IB, with experience in complex capital structures and cross border transactions
  • Ability to work effectively with BD heads, BDs & RMs
  • Able to effectively interact with a variety of internal and external people
  • Proven leadership ability with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to express a sound opinion, able to agreeably present another viewpoint
  • Must have a sharp business development focus and demonstrate innovative approaches

Education:
  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
