Job Summary:

The

Interior Design Intern

will support the design team in creating aesthetically pleasing and functional interior spaces. This role involves assisting with space planning, mood boards, material selection, 3D modeling, and client presentations. It's a hands-on learning opportunity for candidates looking to gain practical experience in the interior design industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist senior designers with design concepts, sketches, and layouts. Create mood boards, color palettes, and sample presentations. Support in selecting materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories. Help with 2D drafting and 3D modeling using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar. Conduct site visits and take measurements or photographs as required. Organize and maintain the sample library and design documentation. Prepare client presentations and assist with client meetings when required. Stay updated on current design trends, materials, and innovations. Collaborate with the design and project teams to ensure design intent is maintained.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Basic knowledge of design principles, materials, and space planning. Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator). Good eye for detail, color coordination, and spatial awareness. Strong communication and organizational skills. Willingness to learn and take direction. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Portfolio or sample work (if available) is a plus.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
