Designer Job Duties \xc2\xb7 Creating sketches and drawings of new designs using software such as AutoCAD \xc2\xb7 Meeting with clients to discuss their needs and preferences and recommending materials, colours and styles that will meet their goals \xc2\xb7 Creating computerized models of designs using specialized computer software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks \xc2\xb7 Creating detailed sketches or drawings of furniture pieces or other products that can be used by manufacturers for mass production \xc2\xb7 Meeting with suppliers to select materials that meet the designer\xe2\x80\x99s requirements for quality and cost \xc2\xb7 Developing a thorough understanding of current trends in style so new designs will be desirable to consumers \xc2\xb7 Reviewing existing designs to identify opportunities for improvement or change Required Skills and Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in furniture design, industrial design, or related field \xc2\xb7 3-5 years professional experience in furniture design \xc2\xb7 Proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino, 3ds Max, or similar software \xc2\xb7 Strong portfolio of previous work \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Type: Full-time Salary: \xe2\x82\xb915,000.00 - \xe2\x82\xb935,000.00 per month Benefits:
