INTERIOR DESIGNER

Katerra Design is hiring an Interior Designer with experience in workplace and healthcare

Katerra Design is an architecture and interior design firm. For 30 years we have been designing and delivering advanced workplace and healthcare design across the country.

The job of the Interior Designer is to become an integral part of our Design team in the design and execution of well thought out workplaces and healthcare. He/she will contribute from the early conceptual stages and client interaction through to design development including generation of computer generated 3D visualization leading into contract documentation and construction administration.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

5+ years of work experience in variety of client industries with respect to interiors preferably workplace, hospitality , Corporate, Airports, healthcare, retail, etc

Bachelors degree in Bachelors with 5 to 6 years of experience (Interiors) or Diploma in Interior design or Civil Engineering with 6 to 8 years of experience (Interiors)

Proficiency in software: AutoCAD (must), Photoshop, Sketchup, Revit (optional), Microsoft Office (must)

He/she shall be working with/assisting the project architect / project interior designer in the day-to-day activities of the project.

Take ownership of work and design under the supervision of seniors

Skilled in executing detail design drawings

Ability to multi-task on various stages of projects while meeting specific deadlines on each project

Knowledge of local codes and permitting processes and requirements

Excellent ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal

Should be able to explain and present design concepts

Experience working in cross functional team environment
