Undertake a wide variety of skilled tasks including repairs, troubleshooting, installation/replacement and calibration of instrumentation equipment, Use of SCADA control and electrical/instrumentation systems for troubleshooting and maintenance
Perform inspection, predictive, corrective and preventive maintenance (PM) of all electrical equipment under the scope of Electrical responsibility.
Perform and conduct preventive maintenance to all electrical and instrumentation equipment; Conduct routine inspection; Suggest and implement approved process improvement initiatives in order to ensure compliance to quality standards, safety procedures and continuous plant operations. Perform regular housekeeping at assigned work areas.
Perform and conduct corrective maintenance to all electrical and instrumentation equipment; Conduct troubleshooting, repairs and reconditioning of electrical and instrumentation equipment in order to ensure compliance to safety procedures and continuous plant operations.
Conduct instrument calibration on assigned equipment in order to ensure compliance to technical standards and continuous operations
Prepare servicing, condition monitoring and inspection reports
Supports both control and instrumentation execution systems.
Must be familiar with the principles of control system, and all the instruments used to control the operation process (temperature, pressure, level, flow, pH, control valves, ...)
Must have good instrument troubleshooting skills.
Must have ability to work on scaffolds or ladders safely
Ability to work overtime, rotating shifts and weekends on a regular basis.
Work Experience: Candidate must have minimum 03 years of instrumentation & Control experience in O&G plantDiploma holder Instrumentation engineeringGeneric awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles
Be able to work both in independently and in a team environment completing objectives efficiently with a sense of responsibility.
Be able and willing to work in non-ideal environments such as: confined spaces, working at heights and around chemicals.
Understand, practice and enforce safe work practices related to the following: respiratory protection, elevated work platforms, fall protection, control of hazardous energy (Lockout/Tag-out procedure), fire protection systems, electrical safety, confined space entry, PPE etc.
Knowledge of identification, classification and disposal of waste
Knowledge of environmental and health impact of chemicals being used in the plant
Knowledge of firefighting equipment
Knowledge of First aid measures
Basic Knowledge on Power/Water plant operational activities
