Job Description

To check the healthiness & carry out calibration of instruments installed at location. To support instrument engineer for adopting the steps for continues improvement of Instrumentation and Control system. To perform instrumentation jobs as per HSEQ, internal/external standard norms. To perform scheduled maintenance jobs of Instrumentation and Control system. To ensure timely compliance for jobs. To maintain good housekeeping of the plant and instrument workshop. Ensure the preventive and predictive maintenance of equipment and compliance of statutory requirement as per schedule for the plant. To maintain & update documents of calibration record, SIF Proof Testing records, Preventive / Predictive Maintenance records, Cause & Effect Matrix, CAPA etc. To maintain the inventory of the general consumables and critical spares in coordination with store in charge. To ensure for the healthy operation of DCS / SCADA System. Configuration and troubleshooting of for Field Instruments like Radar Level transmitters, Control Valves, On/Off Valves, RTD, Temperature Transmitters, Mass flowmeters Routine Shift activities and shift Hand-over take-over. EHS responsibilities : To follow site EHS procedure and best practices. Read and understand relevant procedure and perform the work safely. Support site EHS in safety campaign, Safety observations to prevent the injuries. Follow the site PSM procedure and implement the PSM culture Required Knowledge/Skills: Thorough knowledge of Field instruments configuration through HART Trex. Should be able to read and understand P&ID and wiring drawing. Knowledge of Emerson Delta-V DCS, Honeywell PLC system. Basic knowledge of SAP for Plant maintenance module. Basic understanding of Electrical systems. E.g. Motor Control circuit, Variable frequency drive ,DCS to MCC feeder wiring for motor control Required Experience: 4-8 years of technical experience in the I&C dept. with Chemical, petrochemical or refinery industry
