Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify, research, and engage with potential shippers across various industries in the U.S. market through calls, emails, and digital outreach.
Sales Development:
Present S&S Brokerage's logistics services to decision-makers, negotiate pricing and service terms, and secure new business.
Customer Management:
Build long-term client relationships by providing consistent communication, timely updates, and exceptional service.
Quoting & Rate Negotiation:
Prepare and deliver accurate freight quotes; negotiate rates with carriers and customers to ensure profitability and service excellence.
Collaboration:
Work closely with carrier sales and operations teams to ensure on-time pickup, delivery, and issue resolution.
CRM Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in the company CRM system.
Market Awareness:
Stay informed about U.S. logistics market trends, rate fluctuations, and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum 1 year of experience in inside sales, logistics sales, or freight brokerage within the U.S. market.
Hands-on experience with U.S. freight lanes, shippers, and carrier networks is mandatory.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with minimal supervision.
