We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Lead Consultant Specialist . In this role, you will: Reporting into WSIT Head of Infrastructure - GBnWCL and Work with Capital Markets IT teams to Manage the infrastructure projects covering all IT aspects/phases (Lifecycles, CTO, Cyber, Risks, Quality and Development), Planning, establishing key milestones, efforts estimates, deliver projects as per agreed Timeframes / Quality / Scope / Costs, provide end to end governance and publishing period dashboards. Responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing Technical and Process pre-requisites for the project or programmes demonstrating ability to Convert business expectations into delivery plans. Service Sustainabili ty - Have excellent understanding of financials and have visibility on SSP deliverables, compliance, automation usage to reduce efforts, budget spend tracking for variances, provide timely governance around Exposure, solutions design wherever suitable. Stakeholder management - Build & maintain strong relationship with stakeholders including CTO, various functions, our internal partners within immediate area and across other service lines necessary to deliver the role expectations. Ensure regular connect to drive expectations, decisions based on sound understanding of programme/project objectives, Group CTO Strategy, Contributing teams. Architectural aspects - Represent the service line in Solution Design Board, create & present Infrastructure Solution Designs in adherence to Design principles, Architectural Roadmap, and Strategic path of service. Advise and guide the shaping of the infrastructure architecture which underpins the WSIT business. Work with the service lines to maximize consistency and re-use of solutions across the WSIT business we support. Setup/Manage governance and control framework around ad-hoc responsibilities and expectations including: IKP deliveries, demand projection till fulfillment by working in collaboration with CTO teams. Compliance - IST Patching, AST remediation, CBM violations, SBM by partnering with relevant teams, ensuring quality support from own teams/SMEs. Maintain compliance to Information Security Other Group policies documented in Group IT FIM. Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory issues, compliance of all internal controls and HSBC Group Compliance Policies. Driving ITSO Connect forums - Review and communicate delivery outcomes, compliance ask/status, seek inputs/feedback, resolve queries/challenges and act as a bridge between POD teams and DevOps Infra/CTO teams. Data Backup Failure, BRETT activities/compliance DevOps - Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the infrastructure, production support and other IT teams by championing the use of Agile and DevOps principles / methodologies. Identify key blockers and play a lead role in the removal of blockers and hence facilitate the implementation of tactical and strategic solutions accordingly. Transformation through Automation - Strong capability to identify opportunities, convert into target roadmap to deliver automation solutions. Lead & contribute towards ideation, applicability, business outcome, milestone planning, periodical reviews, status reporting, resolving blockers, testing, and roll outs, followed by adoption and highlighting the benefits including $ saves. Periodical reporting/walkthrough of project milestones to Infra head, SSP leads, Business head. Discuss gaps / challenges / blockers and come up with foolproof solutions/approach to manage overall expectations. Prepare the AoP plan for the team and review with Infra leadership to agree upon Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: The ideal candidate will display a proven track record around role & responsibilities defined above, and a conceptual understanding of how Infrastructure projects intersect with businesses and software delivery teams, in turn to build awareness in self & team\'s capabilities in those areas. The candidate will also display the below skill-sets: Exposure of principle responsibilities above along with project management related qualification such as PMP or Prince2, Knowledge (certification ideal) of agile. Extensive experience in an IT leadership role in a development or operations environment, with in-depth specialization in project delivery and management. Excellent written and spoken communication skills an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences. Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same. A track record of overseeing delivery of multiple, large scale, complex projects. A successful track record of delivering complex projects and/or programmes, utilizing appropriate techniques and tools to ensure and measure success. Understanding of architectural end to end design process and architectural principles. Definite understanding around regulatory and compliance requirement from software and infrastructure standpoint. Exposure & understanding towards DevOps tooling to able to work closely with DevOps Infra SME. Soft skills required for this role: You are open minded and eager to learn. You have a client service orientation, dealing with difficult situation, developing others, team leadership, teamwork, and cooperation Achievement orientation, creative thinking, discipline, analytical, research and evaluating. Problem solving, Excellent Negotiation skills. The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements: Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent with overall, 12-14 yrs of IT experience, preferably Financial Domain with clear understanding of project and technology lifecycles. 5+ years of Project/Delivery management experience working with offshore or nearshore teams. 5+ years of infrastructure systems, Infrastructure projects, network, ITIL process design and implementation. 5+ years of experience supporting clients and client expectation management Naturally accountable and responsible. Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, self-sufficient, and having strong facilitation skills. Must have current or past infrastructure experience around job role requirements overall.
