Position Infrastructure Operations Manager Position 1 Department Digital Technology Function IT Services Location Gurgaon Designation Senior Manager Job summary: As an Infrastructure Ops Manager, you are part of IT Services Operations team focusing on driving the core Operations by ensuring availability, performance, security, governance with cost effectiveness and control. Further improving delivery effectiveness of heterogeneous technology flavors on Unix, Storage and Backup on clouds and On Premise. You will be responsible for Infrastructure Operations for IT Infrastructure (Unix, Storage & Backup) its DR, Licensing, audit, compliance, optimization, budgeting on infrastructure services and Cloud for various cloud platforms e.g. AWS, Azure, OCI etc.., with seamless integrations across multiple customer facing digital assets, back-end systems and external sources. You bring deep technical expertise in managing and delivering end to end high performance, scalable, secure & flexible multi On premise, cloud services and platforms. Key responsibilities: .Experienced in leading Infrastructure operations and migration programs with highest levels of proficiency in defining operations and migration methodology, approach and requirements to execute the work related to Pre-migration, Migration and Post-migration activities - MLI on premise app / infra to cloud along with BAU operations .Ensure implementation of MLI applications on cloud, DC & DR, align to MLI standards across environments and the incumbent partners adhere to the same across the project lifecycle .Identify cross functional dependencies, engage in discussion with business, application, infrastructure services, PMO, solution architecture, Testing CoE, EPD teams involved in the Operation & Migration Process to ensure alignment to the Services & project plan .Responsible for conducting services reviews (Monthly/ weekly/ quarterly) with senior leadership Responsible for Client deliverables, and delivery Service Level Agreements internally and external stakeholders, business partners .Be able to govern multiple projects/tracks and be the face to customer for delivery escalations and improvements .Build a knowledge ecosystem to manage the 24x7 support with effective program management .Ensure Smooth handover to support teams post migration Other responsibilities: .Provide technical expertise in solving/troubleshooting performance & other non-functional requirements .Experiment, explore and demonstrate application of new technologies by means of conducting quick prototypes to solve business problems .Focus on continuous service improvement and thought leadership, drive strategic initiatives to help business and partners to achieve their goals .Optimize the On premise and cloud infra spend and define cost control mechanisms by suggesting architectural changes & optimizing resource utilization Measures of Success .Successful delivery of Infrastructure & Cloud Operation including availability, performance, security, compliance and on cost as per MLI\'s standards MOS & SLA .Meet the enterprise level Infrastructure Operation & cloud adoption KPIs .Exceptional user(internal/external) experience, automation and operational efficiency by adoption of new cutting edge technology solutions to solve business problems .Trusted partnership with other departments of IT, business and business partners . Manage and maintain uptime, availability, performance, backup, security hardening, patch management and compliance, Ensuring process & ITIL compliance. . Vendor Management . Cost optimization and OPEX reduction Key competencies/skills required .Deep understanding of the Infrastructure & cloud architecture, Operation, deployment and management expertise .Experience in various functions of Infrastructure & cloud operations, transition with sustain & migrations life cycle .Experience in managing teams in multi/hybrid cloud environments .Possess strong, effective interpersonal and negotiation skills and able to communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders and program team members at all levels of the organization. .Should have good knowledge on several areas like On-prem DC Infra, OS, Public Cloud, Databases, Backup, Security .Thorough knowledge in handling ticketing tools, monitoring tools, backup tools .Good experience on Virtualization/High Availability & Networking Desired qualifications and experience: .12 + years of Overall experience in managing Infrastructure operation, implementing, supporting and migrating Data Center, public cloud/ hybrid cloud environment .5 + years of managing, maintaining and sustaining Infrastructure operation & cloud solution and its technical deployment architectures .3 + years of experience in applications management/migration on, On Prem & cloud i.e. AWS, Azure etc. .Experience on implementing, managing, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity solutions .Experience in implementing Infrastructure for Enterprise Solutions.
