Infrastructure Operation Effectiveness Analyst

The Infrastructure group brings the digital workplace to life for the Kimberly-Clark organization. This group seeks out new technologies on the horizon and how to leverage them to support the goals of the organization, manages the infrastructure and creates a digital, connected workplace for employees. As part of the Digital Workplace team, the Operations Effectiveness Analyst evaluates and prototypes solutions to enhance productivity and communication between Digital Workplace team members and internal customers, uses collaboration technologies and processes to ensure high performance of the team and compliance with Kimberly-Clark Global IT standards. Areas of specialty includes operations management, customer facing, processes design and implementation, vendor management and audit compliance. Operations Effectiveness Analyst is supposed to participate and sometimes lead small to medium initiatives related to Digital Workplace solutions for both, ITS and K-C business users. The individual is responsible to promote and support an enterprise perspective and vision in an area of Digital Workplace, championing enterprise define best practices and standard. Work with INF DW solution architects, engineers, regional INF representatives in order to identify process improvement opportunities within business processes as well as demand for Digital Workplace capabilities. Scope/Categories: Key Interfaces: - Digital Workplace solution Architects, Solution Engineers, IT Infrastructure Coordinators, Business and Functional leaders, Business Process Owners, IT Business Partners, Business Users. Travel may include approximately 5-15% of work time. Key Accountabilities:
  • Working with vast group of K-C employees and IT teams translates business goals into technical requirements in digital workplace area. Builds the team roadmap to deploy solutions and process changes.
  • Analyses the user (digital) experience to enhance tools and services provided to the company. Use data gathered from cross team collaboration to make UX and UI product recommendations.
  • Develops scorecard and measures on product deployment success.
  • Working with cross functional team, establishes communication campaign to increase employee productivity with Digital Workplace tools.
  • Analysis of risks, cost impacts and potential benefits of alternative processes designs.
  • Evaluates factors which must be addressed while implementing projects, enhancements and changes, including functional, cultural, organizational and business constraints. Leads change management activities related to business and technology deployments.
  • Defines and executes enhancements and small-scale projects, actively participating in all phases of the projects. Identifies and manages dependencies and risks to ensure success of the project. Estimates costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful delivery of the project(s) to agreed terms of reference. Plans cross team efforts to ensure success and timely accomplishment of enhancements and projects. Ensures system compliancy with security policies and control standards.
  • Ensures engineering team address issues with product deployments to fix defects.
  • Ensures development of system and user documentation are created and maintained in accordance to ITS Global Standards.
  • Execute operational process ensuring it meets the objectives and compliant with standards.
Key Qualifications and Experiences:
  • A Bachelor's degree with 7 years of relevant experience with demonstrated skills or 9-11 or more years of applied experience with demonstrated skills described in the Position Profile section.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in working in a large enterprise environment. Experience with enterprise desktop management and O365 products, like Exchange or MS Teams, is an advantage.
  • Is familiar with a range of analysis, modelling and design methods; has broad current knowledge of IT standards, applications and trends. Ability to obtain information from business people in face to face situations, and to gather insights, analyze results, summarize and present findings.
  • Has an analytical and creative approach to problem solving. Hands on experience in medium to complex problem solving. Ability to use information to advance the project or task led.
  • Hands on experience in design and implementation of robust business processes at enterprise level. Experience in simple problem solving/lean and process optimization is an advantage.
  • Has working MS SharePoint experience, working ability to administer SPO sites, develop and maintain content, on hand practical experience of using SPO/PowerApps in business processes (as designer/owner, not only as a user)
  • Able to integrate user needs, and influence peers to meet these needs. Demonstrates a concern and aptitude for considering the user's perspective in IT development. Solid knowledge of theory, methods and practice of user centered systems development throughout the product lifecycle and is aware of socio-technical issues. Has excellent interpersonal skills and is fully experienced at dealing with colleagues, clients and users. Possesses a broad understanding of business and business skills, understands the significance of commercial constraints and has a deep understanding of user aspects of interactive systems.
  • Skilled in information and communications technology. Has a good general knowledge of relevant development life-cycles.
  • Proven track of records for successful small to medium initiatives lead. Project Management certification is an advantage.
  • Familiar with Service Level Management and ITIL practices, focusing on operational efficiency and improving delivery speed, agility and automation to support rapidly changing business needs.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory.

Global VISA and Relocation Specifications:

K-C requires that an employee have authorization to work in the country in which the role is based. In the event an applicant does not have current work authorization, K-C will determine, in its sole discretion, whether to sponsor an individual for work authorization. However, based on immigration requirements, not all roles are suitable for sponsorship. This role is available for local candidates already authorized to work in the role's country only. K-C will not provide relocation support for this role.
