For candidates interested in Pune: This role will be remote until October 2022 or when the Google office in Pune opens, (whichever is earlier). After this, you will be required to work from the Google Pune office.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 10 years of experience in Technical Consulting or Project/Program Management in corporate IT, professional IT services, or product development.

• Experience programming in one or more of the following: Java, Python, Go, C++, or similar programming languages.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience leading cloud implementations, cloud support, deployments, and/or business development activities.

• Experience with software development (e.g., Java, Go, JavaScript, Python), building/architecting developer operation pipelines and associated tools.

• Experience with detailed network security and system design of load balancers, firewalls, and VPN in the deployment of virtual machines and containerized applications.

• Experience with implementing large-scale cloud or software projects in corporate environments.

• Excellent organizational, problem solving, and influencing skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of Cloud Consultants, Cloud Architects, and Cloud Engineers.
• Work with customers to identify opportunities to apply cloud infrastructure transformations in their business. Manage and deliver successful implementations of cloud solutions becoming a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
• Design and implement solution architectures, and manage the deployment of cloud native application development solutions according to complex customer requirements and implement best practices.
• Interact with business teams, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
